I was helping some of the others with Liminal plant research, but more recently I've started working on modifying an endangered species of fern to increase its resilience in its natural environment.

Flattery will get you very far, as you well know... but I am capable of some extraordinarily lazy copies. Perhaps not as strikingly obvious as the Spanish Jesus Fresco, but you'd certainly notice the difference.

It'd harder for you to paint something as bad as the Spanish Jesus Fresco on purpose than it would for you to create a halfway decent copy that's actually good.
