ok so say you go to your door one day and somebody's left you a ton of pics and they're of your first bf and of you n him and it's all stuff you never thought you'd get to see again cause insta wasn't a thing yet and every time you moved you'd lose another box and you moved a lot since. and he was the real deal, like the love of your fuckin life, cept for the part where he thought it'd be cool to go through a rift and never come home. anyways then you leave town for a few days to get your head on but it doesn't really work and when you come back you try to chat with his niece cause it turns out she's been here for a while and you didn't really notice, probably cause you didn't want to, but that convo didn't go great and she dropped some more stuff and you didn't handle any of it good at all and now you're pretty sure she's in a bad way but you aren't in a good one neither n you're just making it worse for the both of you but you feel real bad about how shit you did it. especially seeing as you're supposed to be the adult in all this. and now you're just in this hole of bad that you dug for yourself but you dug hers deeper too and you probably want to help her fix hers but you don't cause everything about it hurts n goes wrong
